I am no coder or game designer but I imagine this is a programming issue and done to save time/effort. The sad thing is, I wanted to like it! I even struggled on trying to ignore the glitches, but when you are unable to complete it because of the glitches you feel cheated. Like buying a brand new car that has no transmission. I don\'t frequent, in fact that was my first post on this subreddit. I buy almost every single game I try after pirating, I do it for no purpose further than demoing games that don\'t include a demo on Steam (so far that includes Oxygen Not Included, NieR, Rimworld, Cities: Skylines and KSP) And again I did this process with Ghost Warrior 3 after having a decent time in Ghost Warrior 2. And I had to make sure I was making a good decision when buying a $30 game with almost $40 of DLC to boot (I don\'t really refund games as I give almost all that will run at least a few hours to try out which always leaves me over the 2 hour limit maximum).
I will never regret torrenting this game to try it out, because it was horrible. And if I ended up otherwise spending ~$70 on this game I would forever regret it.
